What is it? Windows/Linux data Recovery util, recovers files from disks with physical damage.
Why we like it? We’ve been using Roadkil’s Unstoppable Copier for several years, mostly when transferring large amounts of files between computers on our local network. Unlike Windows Explorer, Unstoppable Copier will not fail a transfer/copy if it encounters problems such as bad sectors, scratches or that just give errors when reading data. The program will attempt to recover every readable piece of a file and put the pieces together, if this fails it will list the files not transferred.
- User can set the amount of retries for recovery of damaged files
- User can set the amount of computer resources allocated to the recovery process
- Can be used as a daily backup system using its batch mode functions
- Run from the command line, supports command line parameters
System Requirements? Windows (from Windows 9x to 8) Linux x86, Linux x86-64
